Money in Czechia
Czech Koruna · Kč · CZK
Decline an ATM's offer to convert into your card's currency; it usually adds 12 to 15%.
Avoid using a cash machine just to check your balance, as a hidden fee applies.
Look for the lunchtime daily menu, a cheap set meal of a few courses aimed at office workers.
On Czech Railways even two people count as a group: one pays full fare, the others about half.

About the data

Written from the sources we link, and checked against them before each release. Countrywise summarises public sources. We are not an official source. For safety and entry rules, always follow the official page we link to.

From your foreign ministry when it publishes its advice openly (Germany, the US, the UK). Otherwise we show those three side by side. Checked daily, with the date next to every entry.
